Rebuilt a 1999 flourescent bar light/clock and decided to remove the old magnetic ballast and starter and replacewith an electric kind.As others have mentioned, don't expect an exact fit unless you're replacing the exact ballast. It was only slightly bigger than my old one so still worked great.

Simple to install. Depending on the light fixture you may have to drill a new access hole to feed the power leads. Once it was installed it worked perfectly with an original florescent ring light or even with an LED replacement. Light weight and plenty of cord for connecting to power as well as a good plug in connector for the bulb.

I'm using this ballast to drive a Feit LED FC8T9 Circline bulb (see my review here on Amazon for details). Even though LEDs don't need a ballast as such, the Feit Circline bulb is designed as a 'drop-in replacement' as near as possible. It needs a particular type of ballast.So I bought this one, and it works perfectly well with the LED bulb. It should work fine with most florescent FC8T9 Circline bulbs as well. See the photo for the correct way to hook up the connector.

I needed a new ballast for a circular light. This was a near perfect replacement for a USA lighting E190694. This unit is a little larger than the approximate dimensions of 2 1/2” wide 1 3/4” tall and 1 1/3” depth of the previously mentioned original. It works really well and was a great value.

This 22 watt ballast is a good replacement for the Viva VEB 82122 and the price is right at about $13. I used it to replace a Hunter Low Profile florescent light ballast. If you are relatively handy you can use this Sunlite ballast to replace the Viva ballast for less than half the cost. Since the Sunlite ballast has a different mounting orientation you will need to be creative to attach it to the fan light housing. I used a cable tie and two cable tie self-sticking mounting pads I purchased at my local giant hardware store. See picture below for details.Well, I am a happy customer since my Hunter ceiling fan light is now working nicely every time I flick the switch.I subtracted one star only because if you use it on the Hunter fan light you will need to find a way to mount it.Kindly leave a comment if this review was of help to you.
