4mm spacer perfect for placing a 7speed cassette on an 8/9 speed hub. You still need to Dremel the spacera bit to allow for rivets on the back of your cassette.

This is exactly what I needed to fit an 8 speed hub on my 7 speed bike. It required a few minutes with a Dremel to clearance the face for the three rivets that hold the cassette together, but otherwise worked perfectly. It feels substantial and seems thick, but we'll see how it holds up after a few miles.

Works as advertised. It solved the problem with a 10 speed driver and 7 speed cassette in a very inexpensive way. I also did receive what was pictured, not just a round ring as one reviewer mentioned.

The beefy spacer pictured by vendor is not what you'll get.You will receive a flimsy piece of the thin ring similar to one seen in the attached photo. At least this is what I got.Bummer.
