Jury's still out on whether or not it makes any difference in odor levels, but 3 of them do light up a room pretty effectively.

Returning this. The light is a dreadful color and heats up so fast that I fear that it's dangerous.

Seems to be working. It is a spiral lamp which I do not like, prefer the old style. Did not have a choice.

I bought the light bulb to give "outdoor" light in a dark place of our lower level. I also bought it because it was supposed to have an ionizing effect.The light it casts is yellow and dull- and I do not smell any difference in the room we have it in. We keep the light on during the day "to clean the air" but we do not notice any difference, except the almost depressing cast of the bulb. I would not waste my money on this product. I would check out a friends product for my self before I would buy another "ionizing light bulb". It could be a regular light bulb for all we know.

I didn't notice much of a difference when I installed them in the kitchen and bathroom. A working ventilation system and some air freshener for those occasions when extreme conditions occur, such as cooking fish is sufficient.

i ordered two of these bulbs to freshen up the air in my room and den. the one in my den started blinking a couple of weeks ago. now it won't even turn on. i tried it in a another socket, and still no go. the bulb it replaced is 13 years old and is back in the lamp.when it worked it provided very white/bright lighting. they do seem to help with air quality.

First shipment busted/ broken replacement arrived in good shape, but as far as Ionic, not so much. Spend your money on something other than this bulb. Go back to the lab sunlight.
