We love the look of this and can't wait to assemble and attach the second one. This will look great next to our outdoor firepit. A super bummer is that one of the panels arrived bent and we could not finalize assembly. 4 stars would have been 5 with undamaged product. Way too heavy to repackage and ship back

The product is supposed to be rusty/rustic. You need to unpack it and build it outside OR put down a big tarp. Easy peasy. I wore garden gloves when originally handling, but took those off to better manipulate. Yes, your hands are going to get dirty. Big deal.Putting it together is not that hard if you think logically about the assembly, and there are videos out there that show you how. Google them, or, find them on the dang Amazon website.I put most of it together by myself, but my husband did come out and help me at the end to expedite and facilitate. Do not tighten all of the screws until the VERY end. That is the trick to getting the holes to line up.I love it, and we're gettin lots of compliments on it. If you are concerned about the rust shedding, then once assembled, by some matte, clear spray lacquer to coat it.

Was looking for a log rack that didn't look cheap or looked like it belonged to my grandparents, this was by far the best one I found- and happy with my purchase. I ended getting two and connecting them, they have holes just for that purpose. They didn't provide the nuts/bolts to do so though, but I had plenty in the garage. I was thinking about getting a third and making a book shelf out of it.

What an awesome product. This was exactly what we were looking for. The instructions were a little unclear but with anybody that has any mechanical skills whatsoever it’s a breeze. Super, heavy – gauge steel and very well-made. For those folks that are complaining that it’s “too rusty“ I have to just smile and shake my head. That’s precisely what it is intended to be… Rustic!

Great product! Just as advertised. Very easy to assemble, everything you need is included. You will get your hands dirty putting it together but it takes less than an hour. Protect the floor as rust will come off. I’m using outdoors for the fire pit. There are extra holes in case you want to join several together. I found one was large enough for me. It is a solid piece and fairly heavy. Looks great wherever you want a rustic look.

Firstly it’s a rusty mess if I put this on my porch the rust would damage the wood. The packaging was poor so returning would mean trying to find a box to fit it.The holes were not always aligned and the bolts enclosed had no nuts so the product didn’t stay together.I have never given a bad review from any product that I purchased from amazon but this is awful

This is a beautiful and quality piece. We love it! It's true about the rust but we have hardwood floors and our rug also didnt seem to be fazed by it. If anything could be criticized, it'd be the directions. They are mostly self-explanatory but could be a tad bit better. Otherwise, so happy with this purchase.

I was looking for something a little out of the ordinary to stack my firewood in, and almost every log holder on Amazon was identical, made in China stuff. This one is different and looks great, plus holds an immense amount of wood in a small space. I am happy with the purchase. The sides are heavy, but well fabricated and the pice went together with no trouble (I'm a 65 year old lawyer, not a 40 year old engineer... so that's saying something.) A few caveats, however -- this is real, rusted metal -- not something that is faked up to look rusted. While I have this indoors, the rust "sheds" and you would be very, very sorry if you put this on carpet. The screws used to hold it together also protrude slightly from the piece, so you cannot slide this around on tile or wood unless you also protect the floor with bumper pads. Finally, four of the sides are solid while two of them have four small holes that look to be part of a system to tie several together in honeycomb fashion-- but I'm not sure. They're not explained in the directions and they distract from the overall quality of the piece.
