Rim arrived quickly, true and unblemished. Published ERD of 612 mm (for the 700c version) seems to be correct - agrees with what I measured across two spokes, and more importantly the spokes I ordered at lengths determined with that ERD and a calculator know to give good results for my hub turned out just right.Putting this in a unicycle so only had to build one wheel, and symmetric at that. Looking forward to giving it a ride as soon as the rest of my parts arrive.

Overall, was very satisfied on how this rim performed. I put in on an old cyclo-cross type frame so I could have a hybrid commuter. I think it's width is 27.5 mm.Bought this way back 2011. At that time, I was looking for a rim for the frame that I got. Local bike shops at that time would only have slim road bike rims or 29er rims intended for disc brakes. I was looking for a wide rim with rim brakes. After searching on online discussion forums, I found out about the Sun Ringle Rhyno Lite, widest rim intended for rim brakes. I don't know if there are others that are reasonably priced out there. Used on pavement and some hard dirt roads. I even went with mountain bikers on trails one time.I usually see those new mountain bikes with big tires but their rims are so narrow. I really wonder why (aside maybe because they are light).I eventually sold these last month to my friend who is looking for a similar rim after I decided to turn my bike into a fixie.Highly recommended for those looking for a sturdy wide rim on the 700c/29er (ISO 622) size.

I built up a new wheelset for my Surly Crosscheck using 36h XT hubs and these rims. I use this bike for commuting, beer rides, and gravel races like the Almanzo 100. I'm a happy camper. These rims take all kinds of abuse, yet they remain true. These might be the rims for you if: you want to get the best performance from your tires by spreading them out on a wide rim, you're a large person, you like to air it out, you crush curbs on the regular, you like to overbuild whatever project you're working on, 0% of your bike is made of carbon fiber.

I ordered a cheap chinese made electric front wheel and hub and the supposed 700C rim was too small. I ended up ordering this rim and 'building' the wheel myself and had it trued for $20. BAM. I'm back in business. This rim is not the lightest, but is super sturdy which is the only factor for a fast e-bike (I go about 24 mph on flat ground). The price is way lower than other rims I looked at. So I extremely pleased with this purchase.

I am a large gentleman, and I am hard on bike components. I had been having trouble with busted spokes on my last set of rims, but rode all summer without a problem with a set of these.

Using these as my touring rims because of the strength and rim width. Can't beat the price and whats a couple oz's when you are hauling 10's of lbs? Wish they came with black rim walls because i have a disc trucker.
