First there are no instructions on the stand. one sheet of what not to do. The wheels are the next problem, 4 small ones, 2 larger ones, no idea where they should go. Most folding stands have 4 large and 2 small, you normally put the small ones in the middle. I could not find any combination of wheel placement that would make it stable. The hardware bags were broken and the box was damaged as well. My hardware was probably distributed all over the world. The hardware that is provided is 4.8, which is about a grade 2 bolt, so don't tighten them too much you will break them. I had to go get new hardware to replace what was lost in shipping. The rear plate where the engine mounts is too small for a small block V8 ford. After buying hardware and using the upper bolt holes to support the engine i was able to hang the engine only to have it want to fall over tipping forward. I ended up buying a harbor freight stand because this thing will hurt you. I don't know how it can possibly be a 2000 lb stand. Would not buy again.

Engine plate had the slots. Slots will not meet the bolt hole pattern. The attached arms for the plate are to short. Bolts stripped out by the wheels.. thought we were getting the pictured engine stand. Then thought it might work..do not purchase this product without buying Tylenol first!!! It's not worth the expensive headache.

Was simple to assemble. It was missing one of the engine supports. Also the 2 front arms would not pull all the way up in the lock position. Had to grind each to round them enough to clear to raise them to pin in the upright position.

Item was missing a major part....turning plate. Box had a big hole in it and someone had put plastic wrap around the box.

Not exactly what I thought I was getting. Seems a little tipsy and will not fit a big block ford.

I guess you get what you pay for, and i opted to put my money into the actual engine and not a temp stand...Welds look bugered...Also saw some missed weld spots on one leg where the other leg was welded...1 of the 8 holes for the pair of smaller casters all meant to be countersunk, was not countersunk at all, i had to drill the countersink into it...Oh, and there was a big mess of what looked like bird shot in the box, in and out of packaging and even inside the main closed ended box tube vertical post. Took a while to shake it all out through the bolt holes...
