Sunroof Moon Roof Motor

Electric sunroof motor assembly - installation and use instructions:

I. Technical requirements:

Working voltage: 9~16V; working temperature: -40℃~+80℃.

II. Installation steps:

1. Check whether the original car glass wool groove has dirt deposition, aging, severe wear, and whether the glass groove has deformation or displacement.

2. Disassemble the motor assembly: The motor is located on the roof of the rear seat (it is best to find a professional in a repair shop to disassemble it).

3. Install the motor assembly: Fix the motor assembly on the sunroof frame. When fixing, ensure that the output teeth of the motor and the rack of the sunroof are in place, then tighten the removed plum screws and plug them into the socket. Finally, after the motor completes the following initialization learning steps, reinstall the remaining removed parts to complete the installation.

III. Initialization learning:

The new motor assembly after installation needs to be learned (zero point state). If the sunroof glass is in the normal closed state at this time (we call it the zero point state at this time), the sunroof can work normally at this time. If the sunroof is not in the normal closed state after the motor is installed, you need to press the sunroof closing key to close the sunroof in place. If the sunroof cannot be closed by pressing the closing key, you need to press and hold the closing key for 10 seconds until the sunroof is completely closed. (This method can be repeated and the sunroof must be in the normal closed state) Then unplug the motor socket and wait for 5 seconds before plugging it back in. At this time, the motor completes zero point initialization. Only then can the sunroof work normally.

IV. Notes:

This sunroof motor can control the switch operation function of the sunroof alone, without the need to associate it with the roller shutter motor. Similarly, the roller shutter motor on the original car can also control the switch operation function of the roller shutter alone (the difference is that before closing the roller shutter, you must press the sunroof closing key to close the sunroof in place).

V. Special attention: This product must be learned (zero point state) after installation in order to operate normally.

Motors fit perfectly, but however, these aftermarket motors will NOT work. Motors will NOT "relearn" stop limits. You press the tilt button, and it will slide for a second instead, and then stop. You press the slide button and it will tilt. The motor seems to work slightly better for the power shade slide, but it will still not learn its stop limits. Complete waste of time. Returned
