This sunshade fits my 2021 Tesla Model Y well and does exactly what it’s supposed to—blocks the intense sun, which is essential in Hawaii. Installation isn’t the easiest, but that seems to be a common issue with these types of shades, as squeezing the clips between the upholstery and glass takes some effort. However, once in place, it stays secure and makes a noticeable difference in keeping the cabin cooler. Overall, a great product that serves its purpose well!

This fits OK, it was a little finicky getting it up, but so far it is holding up well without sagging. It looks like it was made for our 2025 Tesla Y and it matches our dark interior perfectly. The lighter ceiling makes it feel a little less closed in.This comes in two separate pieces. The directions weren’t very helpful, thankfully my husband is handy and was able to figure it out.I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for one of these! This came packaged well.I believe if you get this item, you will not be disappointed, it is pretty straightforward and exactly as the item is posted.Here is my honest opinion on this item:Excellent - If I absolutely love the product and it exceeds my expectation, I will actively suggest the product to my friends and would purchase it again myself as needed.Less than Excellent - I really like this item and it does what the seller claims it would do. I would more than likely recommend it to someone if I knew they were looking for that product.Sub Standard- This item is standard and for the most part does exactly what they say it does, but I would specify any differences. There may be things about a three star rating that I don’t like about the product. If I knew someone were looking for that specific item and I recommend it to them, I would also share with them the reservations that I have.Not so great - I take low ratings seriously. I also take seriously issues with items after you have spent good money on them. In this case, I would probably never recommend anything that I would rate two stars on, in fact, I would probably warn people so they would shy away from buying this item.You might want to find something else - It takes some serious issues to get a one star review from me. Easy directions. Came in a bag which was nice. Clips are easy to put on and off shade. A little hard to get in between the glass and car but that’s because it’s just tight on the car in general. Complete shade!

Unpacking the shade I could see a couple creases and worse, some little sharp dents that i know will not stretch away. The roof will have these artifacts in it that is exaggerated by the shadows created by the uneven surface. The shade stays in place with clips. The shade is two parts with both of them labeled rear even though one is clearly not the rear panel. It does not refer to orientation either. It's just labeled incorrectly.

The sun shade is a must have for the modelY especially in Texas. This sun shade fits my 2025 model Y (not the refresh one, should be the same as the 2024 model) feels like it’s made of quality material. However if you are perfectionist, the overall size of the product is slightly larger than needed. Hence you will notice some crease on the edge (see attached photo). Cannot speak for the models from the other years. But it is not a big issue for me and the price comparing to the Tesla one.
