1/8 Coated Steel Cable
Our clothes line wire are made of premium galvanized steel with coated pvc provides anti-rust, uv resistants, smooth surface, heavy duty. Cable bare OD is 2mm, coated OD is 3mm, and this wire rope's 7x7 strand structure provides excellent flexibility and strength.

This is much better than the woven line that stretches and sags. I have tried to tighten the woven stuff a million different ways, and it still sags. This is actual metal cable with plastic covering it. I know it will eventually dry out and crack in the sun, but in the mean time it will work 1000% better than the old rope I replaced with this.

I used this to make a tomato plant trellis. It seems solid and feels like it should last for many years. No complaints here.

This is a kit with 50' of vinyl coated 3/16" stainless steel cable along with turn buckles for tensioning, as well as thimbles, anchors and clamps. Everything is 304 stainless steel which is very corrosion resistant and beautifully polished.I am going to be using this as a clothes line which will replace a bunch of horribly rusted cable and hardware. I'm sure this is the last time I'll ever have to replace it. This is lifetime hardware.The included turn buckles are very nice but are only 5mm thread (about 3/16"). I have zero doubt that they will hold 50' of clothes line but keep the size in mind if you're going to be using the kit for something heavier.Overall a very nice set for outdoors and I will be buying more.
