When first getting this item it looked to be an exact fit for the existing hose. However when checking it against the fitting that it screws into on the pump it bottomed out before the nylon washer compressed. I compared it with my existing hose and the threads are longer on this hose than on the original. This causes the flare to bottom out and tighten before the nylon washer can start compressing and seal the fitting.

part work great fit was perfect just remember to install the screw in the block before starting the vehicle otherwise you will have power steering fluid everywhere

Finally had the time to change it out, found out this after market part dosen't fit right, leaks, on my new power steering pump.Now I'm stuck with it.
