Fantastic, so much better than what I've used in the past, like the push clips

These work great, only thing is quality control is a bit lacking. Ordered 20 and two of them did not thread well. I would suggest you order a few extra for your project.

We have about 20 outdoor low voltage LED lights. A string of 8 out front, and string of 12 out back. The ones out back were failing, so we purchased through Amazon a new set of 12. We needed wire connectors and so ordered these. These are so quick and easy to install, to use. Our landscape wire is 16/2 (16 gauge, 2 conductor). This was a snug fit for these connectors. A wire bigger (14 for example may not fit). Use a knife to split the insulated wire pair, and attach a connector to each wire. Each light will use two connectors. One for each side of the power wire. ie: 12 lights will need 24 connectors.Be sure to strip about 1/4” from the end of the light wire before putting in the connector. Oh put a little bit of anti oxidant ooze over the ends on the connectors. To seal out moisture and to reduce corrosion.Wonderful connectors. Get them you will be pleased that you did.

I've now bought a second lot of 20 and have replaced faulty cheap connectors that came with my outdoor lighting years ago. These connectors are perfect and an absolute cinch to install every single time. Highly recommended.

Quite honestly most if not all OEM light connectors are garbage. I feel lucky if they work at all and then hope they last for a couple of years. I discovered these a few years ago and slowly but surely have been replacing every original connector. I have even gotten to the point where if I have to replace a light I just cut the OEM connector off and go directly to these from the get go. Might add a little lesson learned about using these with older supply wires. Old supply wires can get a bit hard and these connectors sometimes have issue penetrating the insulation. Easy solution is to take a lighter or match and just heat up the location where you want to put the connector. A little heat works so no need to burn or catch the supply wire on fire.

I bought these to replace ageing connectors on HPM Cacto 12v light poles because the old connectors weren’t carrying power. These are a great replacement - process is to split the main power cable lengthwise (ie separate the positive and negative cables), put the main screw guide around the underside of one of the wires then screw in the spike unit. Once they’re in place, take one of the power cables for the light, strip the end, and feed it through the removable opening at the other end of the spike unit until the wire touches the metal post inside and screw it down so it locks in. Repeat the process for the second power cable. Really good little product.

These connectors are excellent when comparing them with the other models available in the hardware stores. For the first time in many years, I managed to activate all the outdoor lights in my gardens.

If anyone has had experience with low voltage lighting, it is the two piece electrical connector which attaches to the electrical low voltage line where connection failures occur. Getting the old connector off due to corrosion is not simple and requires replacement of the entire wire assembly, from the bulb socket to the attaching connector. With these connectors you cut the wire close to the connector, and use two SUNVIE connectors to reattach the socket wires, and also connect to the low voltage line. Fast and simple.

Easy to use. Have about 20 lights on my low voltage system, so 40 connections. So far so good, no problems. Connections are buried in soil and mulch and are wet/damp. Can install with fingers but after several I used pliers to turn them on as my finger tips were sore. Used with light kiwi base wire.

Purchased the 20 pack, very speedy delivery Amazon Prime 1 Day. The package arrived in great condition, SUNVIE Low Voltage Fastlock Wire Connectors for Landscape Lighting are of very good quality and very simple to use,( and reuse) and the instructions were simple and clear. My project consisted of all new products and the wire connector made an easy task of connecting all my lighting fixtures, even the ones my wife wanted me to relocate after the original installation. (The one item I would recommend is to use clear silicone to seal the connection and make them totally weather tight). I have reordered additional SUNVIE Low Voltage Fastlock Wire Connectors for additional lighting for my project. SUNVIE included a Thank You card for purchasing there product and on the card offered you a 20% off on your next order of a 20 pack of the SUNVIE Low Voltage Fastlock Wire Connectors, Thank You. I would highly recommend purchasing this product for a trouble free connection of your landscape lighting.

Be it known that I write this as a licensed electrician and an electrical engineer from Penn State.I really wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these but they came quickly and as advertised. I guess I never realized how small they are! LOLI put up two 12VAC transformers one each in different locations. Since the wire runs were rather short (about 60 ft) and I was only putting 5, 3W fixtures on each I used 16/2 cord. After digging little trenches alongside the path I laid out the wire beside the little trench. I put a box containing a light where I wanted each to go and started at the furthest light in the line from the transformer. Note that this is a LOW VOLTAGE application and does not follow the same standards as regular household voltage applications would in the National Electric Code, NFPA-70. Also, being that I live in Florida and these connectors would likely see a rather wet and corrosive atmosphere, I grabbed one of my squeeze-tubes of electrical anti-oxidant grease. You can get this at just about any hardware store. It will coat the connections and bare conductors preventing premature corrosion and failure. These are not designed to be water-tight nor do they have to be.Starting at the furthest light position, I opened the box and put the light together while installing the LED bulb I ordered separately. I split the two conductors apart at the end of the tail and stripped about 1/2" of insulation off of each. I took both ends off of two connectors and squeezed in some anti-oxidant grease so that the ends were full. I carefully split the 16/2 line and installed the taps (connections) on the main line. Some grease squeezed out (very little) telling me the pin was coated as it pierced the insulation and made a seal around it. I slid the little ferrule type end over the stripped wire and slightly twisted the bare conductors before sticking it into the connector until the insulation butted up against the post inside. The wires went right through the grease between the center post and the shell of the connector. Holding it in place I slid the threaded ferrule down the wire and screwed it tightly into the connector. Voila! Done. Some grease squeezed out that end too but very little. I wiped my fingers on a rag and continued with the next, and the next, and the next, and so on. The little ferrule presses the bare conductors against the metal center post and makes the connection. It does not, nor is it designed to, hold the insulation.I buried the 16/2, connectors, and remaining tail wire from each light in the little trench as I went along. When I finished and cleaned up I went inside for dinner. It got dark and the photoeye turned the lights on. Perfect! All of them worked without a hitch. No issues. No problems. Good value.
