The rubber leash for my inflatable paddle board had gotten brittle and started cracking so I was looking for a replacement. This woowave leash has been the perfect solution. It has a nice comfortable neoprene cuff that fits nicely around my ankle and is comfortable for longer sessions. It's 11' stretched all the way out but coils nicely when not under load. It's pretty thin so it doesn't weigh much and I pretty much forget it's there. It attaches to the board using the same string/Velcro system that my previous leash attached with and it stays put. You even get a bonus cell phone dry bag with the leash (though my Galaxy S23 doesn't really fit in it so it's better for smaller phones).This works great for my paddle board but it's pretty thin so I don't know how well it would hold up in heavy surf or on bigger boards. So far, it works great and at $12.99 (at the time of this review) I think it's a fantastic value and would definitely recommend it.

I ordered this leash to replace an original that had deteriorated and come apart after years under a harsh sun and seawater. Although it seemed to be built less beefy than my previous name-brand leash, it was lighter and still felt more than strong enough to keep me lashed to my SUP in the event of an unscheduled get-off. Length is just right when coiled so it has some tension and stays out of the way while paddling. Cuff is comfortable, and It comes with a waterproof phone pouch and lanyard that is large enough to fit an iPhone Pro Max with a thin case. Way less expensive than getting one at a brick-and-mortar but just as functional.

I've been paddleboarding for over 9 years and have gone through several ankle leashes. This is the most comfortable one I've used. The leash is nicely padded and made of dense neoprene to prevent chafing, and the swivel on the cuff will prevent corrosion. Additionally, it's very lightweight.For those who complain about the length, I believe they may not have enough experience in paddleboarding. The leash only needs to go from your ankle to the attachment point on the board. It will stretch if you fall off, but since it is coiled, it won't catch on anything accidentally while paddleboarding.The price is a better deal than you will find at the paddleboard shops and the quality is just as good if not better.

I have two of these on my paddle board one for me and one that gets strapped to the dog. I tLike the bright color for the dog. Works great
