How to use the embroidery hoop
1. Separate the inner frame and the outer frame.
2. Place the outer frame on a flat table.
3. Cover the outer frame with a flat embroidery cloth.
4. Gently press the inner frame into the outer frame with the embroidery cloth.
5. Turn the embroidery cloth over and feel the tightness, then you can embroider in a tight state.

This is a nice kit for those that are learning to embroider. It comes with everything you'd need including needles, scissors, seam ripper, hoops, and needle threader. Granted the quality of these tools isn't the best but for those just starting out and seeing if they even like the craft they'll do. Once you learn I'd recommend upgrading because those scissors especially aren't good. That being said it does come with 3 hoops so you can mount your work in that style once it's done. The instructions are pretty good but I can see myself having to go to youtube for some of the stitches. The fabric is nice and strong but I wish it was a little bigger for the size of the included hoop.

I love this set, I think it covers a great amount of stitches and builds up confidence in the beginner and intermediate stitches. There are a lot of spelling errors in the instructions and on the fabric to identify the different stitches, but aside from that it is easy to understand and complete with full color pictures for each step of every stitch. Within a few hours I was able to casually complete the 3 hoops and go off on my own to complete another full embroidery project by myself.

Most embroidery sets come with one hoop and three or four kits with the stamped cloth, floss, needles, and directions. This set comes with three hoops, one for each kit!! When you divide the cost out for three complete sets, each only costs $5!!! What a bargain!! Oh, some of the directions are a little difficult to work through, but there are directions right on Amazon that show very detailed instructions !! If you can't find them, look on YouTube. There are lots of videos there to explain the varied stitches. These kits have excellent floss, plenty of needles, a seam ripper, and a plastic bag to keep all the parts of each kit together. They even have the floss tied to cardboard holders!! I'm thrilled with these kits and I most highly recommend them!!

Exactly as described! I have had a load of fun learning the different stitches. The instructions leave much to be desired... hence the 4 star review. I have had to go to YouTube to figure out the more complex stitches. I would recommend this for anyone looking to try out embroidery for the first time, ADHD individuals looking to have all the necessary items to complete a project without having to invest a fortune in supplies... only for the dopamine to run out! I love that the little samplers are super cute when they're finished! It's so rewarding to have something that you can be proud of and display after the effort you have put into learning something new! Cheers to learning new things!!

I used to do these she; I was a child with my grandmother. I hadn’t done one is so long, I thought I’d start off as a beginner. I’m happy I did because these instructions take you though some of the basics and my hands remember. It’s a great set and would make a good gift also.
