The back piece was not totally straight, but it has not affected the stability of the shelves. It was easy to put together (even came with a screwdriver), has ample room on each shelf, and I love that the middle shelves slide out making it easier to grab what’s needed.

The glides on the first unit I received were bent so it couldn't be assembled. I just notified Amazon online, easily returned it at a nearby Staples, and received a replacement the very next day. This unit was perfect. Easy to assemble - they even provide the screwdriver! I'm organizing my office closet and this was perfect to store my flat supplies (large mailing envelopes, document pockets, page protectors, file folders, etc.). I immediately ordered another unit and it also arrived undamaged. The side attachment was a happy surprise. I keep a supply of new markers, pens, etc. for my home office, and now I store them in the slanted side attachment so the ends always remain moist. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.
