it is what it is . Not good for comic book slabs or card slabs just for certain picture frame and size too any heavy frame it will tip over and fall. also packaging was just the bubble wrap of the envelope not wrapped in a certain way.

I bought these to display a bunch of decorative plates that I own. They support the plate without detracting from it. They're lightweight, but seem solid enough to do their job. I'm happy with them.

My photo includes two kinds of stands: the two cards on the left are sitting on THESE stands that I bought here, and the two cards on the right are other, sturdier stands that came with the card cases they're in. Yes, the two leftmost stands are flimsy, but I actually prefer them to the sturdier ones because as you can see, they hold the cards more upright and less of the stand is visible both in front of and behind the card. Many people don't realize how quick and easy it is to just tape or glue the top hinge to your desired width so they don't close on themselves. Once you do that, they stay put perfectly. For the people who think that's too much work, it's really not (especially since the price of the stands being so low makes up for it), and I'm sure you wouldn't mind that extra step for your prized cards or whatever else you intend to display.

I had a few small plates to display and needed some smaller plate stands than I could find at the local store. These were the perfect size. They are very light and I was afraid they might not hold up under the heavy glass plates, but they work just fine.

Llegó en excelentes condiciones y rápido. Los quería para exhibir unos platos (plaqués) de plástico y no los aguantó. (La verdad, no están pesados)

I bought these little stands a while ago and have actually used several of them around my office to display some postcard-sized collectible coin and stamp sets. I noticed that they had a tendency to fold up a little as you adjusted them, but the friction of the wood cabinets I had placed them on made this barely noticeable. So, I confidently set to work placing one in a glass display cabinet for another stamp postcard collectible, this one in a slightly larger and heavier acrylic display frame. I was just about done and was literally making the final position adjustment when the stand suddenly folded completely closed and collapsed, dumping the acrylic frame against the other item on that shelf: a $300 out-of-production scale model that I had gone to considerable effort to acquire. I managed to catch the rolling model just before it fell five feet to the floor. What was different in this case was a slightly heavier display item and a slicker glass surface, but these stands are not stable and I will no longer be using these for anything heavier than a plain paper postcard. I will not purchase these again.

I purchased this to use as a display prop for my art business. It has a hefty weight, the shine is amazing, and it is great for taking photos. The gold finish on my product was consistent and had no blemishes or flaws. The bottom of the bar is a translucent plastic insert that has 4 small round plastic "feet" in each corner. I assume the "feet" help the bar grip hard surfaces if used as a door stop or paper weight. The bar came with a protective cover that one needs to peel off of the top before use, and the bar was packaged in a plastic box cover. I recommend saving the box for storage, and saving the plastic peel-off cover to reuse until it cannot re-stick on the bar (just to continue to protect the product). I found a similar product for $1 more, but after reading the reviews, I decided to purchase from this seller and I am glad I did!!!
