I could not get my Sportsman 570 clutch to release after tightening the spider. So I used my clutch puller. It caused the threads to be smashed, rendering the tool pretty much useless. I could run a tap through it, but it's too far gone.

Tool doesn’t work, doesn’t hold the clutch. The clutch still turns no matter how tight you tighten it down. Poor design. I found out after I tried using the tool that the clutch it torqued at 190 pounds.

Works great for servicing your Polaris atv clutch. The only issue I had, what when removing the clutch from the holder, the removal tool messed up the threads on the holder.

After reading other reviews about damage to the threads when using the puller bolt the easiest solution was to drop a 1/4 in carriage bolt down inside the hole to before sending the bolt down.

This product works exactly as it should! I was able to remove and reinstall my spider And torque to the spec 225 ft-lb. I was skeptical after reading the reviews but as I figured everyone of those people had a problem due to lack of knowledge and operator error. Before threading the bolt apply never seize to threads to properly lubricate. Get yourself a proper washer. Center bolt must be torqued to at least 95 ft-lb for proper holding. Polaris spider is left hand threaded don’t forget and last but not least you must apply some heat to melt the thread locker. I’m no Polaris tech but I did my research and that’s all it takes.

Used it for my 2017 RZR XP4 1000. I torqued it to 95 ft lbs, and it worked great. There were no slip ups, it did exactly what it was intended for.
