In my county the sherif allows side-by-sides to drive on city streets. From the factory there’s not a whole lot of front and rear bumper and nothing much in the sides either. The sliders will provide a bit more protection along the sides. The installation of the passenger’s side was simple. You cut three 1.5” in the exterior plastic shell, expose the mounting holes, and send M10 bolts into the waiting holes in the slider. Thankfully I installed that side first because the driver’s side made me rethink my 40-years of building Jeep experience. I found that the driver’s side middle (the higher mounted) bolt was about 1/8” too low. I was able to get the two lower bolts in or the one upper one but no amount of pressure could push the assembly low enough to get the center screw in after the bottom two were started. Removing the seat frame (six nuts) allowed access to the center bolt thru the hole you cut open in the interior plastic. Peering into that hole with the slider assembly under upwards pressure with the two lower bolts started and loose revealed the problem with the hole/bolt being too low.I ended up having to run a dremel tool into the factory hole into the Can-Am factory hole to lower it a 1/4”, paint it, and then the bolt fell into place as easy as the passenger’s side. The construction jig either at the SuperATV factory or Can-Am is off on the driver’s side.Once installed they look great, and are plenty strong enough to support an adult male bouncing up and down on them. They ought to provide plenty of protection from side impacts. I gave them 5 stars for performance, and zero stars for installation.

Nothing even began to line up. Wasted half a day messing around with this joke of a product. I had to push, bend, tweek, everything under the sun to make them work and still not done. These had to of been built on a Monday or Friday because it's horrible workmanship. You could probably find something better on the bargain table or the dollar general. STAY AWAY!!!!! I think these were engineered in a kindergarten classroom with crayons and chalk... I don't even think they're that quality..... They suck!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this if you are needing to put them on alone. The nerf bars were bent to where it took two full grown men to bend back where the bolts would line up (yes other bolts were still loose while lining everything up) it took two hours of messing with it to finally get them to work. If it were not for drilling holes in my plastics I would have sent them back for my money back. I only give two stars because ones you can finally get them on that don’t look to bad. For the effort and being bent I believe the price on these is to much for what is needed to put them on. Buy if you have strong help to help you put them on, if not I wouldn’t purchase them.

There’s no way I can make these fit! I shouldn’t have to pay to return, because it says it should fit! 😡

Pain in the ass to install at least on the new 2023 XMR Commander ! Plus the middle hole was never threaded from the factory and was struggling for over an hour trying to get the bolt started because the other two were already started . I about lost my shit trying to get these things installed.. I called super atv and they gave me a 100 dollar credit which was better than nothing , they offered to send me a new one but I went and got a threader and threaded my own hole. They are awesome once on and are super beefy .
