The Superior AccuTrak VPE-GN Ultrasonic leak detector is extremely sensitive to the ultrasonic sound of pressurized gas leaks. Using “heterodyning” technology, high-pitched sounds, characteristic of pressurized gas leaks are transferred to a lower frequencies that humans can hear. AccuTrak maintains the original sound signature or characteristics, making it possible to identify leaks from extraneous background noise. AccuTrak is so sensitive you can actually hear the blink of an eye, yet most background noise will not interfere with leak detection accuracy.
