The Gizmo Riders Supernova is a classic saucer sled with some awesome upgrades! Injection molded from high quality HDPE to withstand any outdoor winter conditions, the Supernova takes the classic disc sled design and supercharges it, adding extra features to make this the safest snow saucer ever. With an integrated brake in the back, this saucer sled allows the rider to control their momentum simply by leaning back to activate the brake and come to a stop. Unlike traditional disc sleds that only go straight downhill, the Supernova features specially designed running board grooves inset on either side that allow the rider to intuitively turn the disc simply by leaning the direction they want to go. Its ergonomic handles make it impossible for the rider to smash their fingers between the edge of the sled in the slow, so there are no more finger injuries that are common with other disc sleds. The Supernova comes in two sizes: the Supernova 60, a 24-inch disc, and the Supernova 70, a 28-inch disc, each with a 200 pound weight limit.

Eh, it’s ok. The brake feature requires that you shift weight significantly forward, otherwise it digs into snow and never gets going. It’s not easy to steer, the brake also engages when you spin around, slowing you to a crawl. I suppose it does what it’s designed to do, almost too safe & not enough fun unless on perfect ski slope conditions.It’s very durable plastic, a nice change from other saucers that inevitably break after a few uses. I bought a cheap $10 saucer at local sporting goods store which was much more fun, but damaged on 2nd use and broke in half 3rd use.

There is a little ridge on the bottom that constantly gets hit and slows it down. It would have been great if you didn't have to sled on perfectly flat ground.
