I knew I was purchasing a new bike within a year, then the wheel on my current bike cracked. That bike had rim brakes and I knew that the new bike would have disk, so I didnt want to put a lot of money into wheels I couldn't transfer to the new bike.These wheels met that need.I was concerned about the reputation of Chinese wheels, but honestly, I had no issues at all. They were very true out of the box and very easy to set up. They came without decals, so overly garish branding was not an issue.If there were any concerns, the wheels were heavier than other like wheels, but I knew that coming in. Also, the wheel were rather loud freewheeling. I could do without that.In the same situation, I would absolutely buy again.

I was lucky enough to get these 3 weeks ago for $265.30 + Tax = $292.17 delivered. But even at the new price you will not find a better (or any) carbon wheel. I would get these again in a heartbeat! For a point of reference I was riding Mavic Open Pro Rims on Dura-Ace Hubs. These wheels roll better on the flat (and downhill), they are faster. They handle just as well or better. Accelerating and up hill they are pretty much the same as the Open Pro's (but that makes sense). Overall weight is pretty much the same as the Open Pro's, but keep in mind, that's about a 19mm depth vs a 60mm depth. You will feel them in a strong cross wind, nothing to worry about, but you'll know they are there. I will get better brake pads, but the ones that come with the wheels work fine in the dry (I have not had them in the wet. I have about 350 miles on them now.

So far so good! Wheels arrived as advertised, well packaged and were incredibly easy to install on my road bike. I've put about 150 miles on them. Recently took them on a 20 mile ride on Wisconsin potholed roads, held up well. The brake pads sent with the wheels are wearing down pretty quick though, I did contact the seller and they are sending me another free set. But will look into upgrading to swiss stop evos or something like that.Well worth the money!

I haven't put many miles on these wheels yet, but after maybe only 100 I am very pleased. Very true, light and to an untrained eye like myself, looks every bit as good as my $2000 plus rims.
