As others have said, this does not include the socket and only has three wires.

The product was missing pieces, no socket.. and so it was not compatible. This was a huge headache, I wished I had read the reviews and not wasted my money seems like many people have had the same experience. Unfortunately it looks like the seller is dishonest in the description.Don't waste your money!!

Used for enclosed car hauler, able to 'spot' the auto as it is winched into the trailer from the ramp outside. Even though the connector is a snug fit, wished the connector had a retainer or locking ring so it can't be accidentally pulled out when stretched. Sturdy product.

Needed a remote switch with the socket to fix a winch with a failed remote controller (that I didn't like anyway due to the latency in starts and stops). This hand controller and socket worked perfectly.

I love the cable - it's supple and rubbery, not stiff and plastic-y like some cheap power cords. However, the control itself is very blocky, uncomfortable, and un-ergonomic, with a rather tiny toggle switch. Oh well. Definitely buy this one rather than the 15 foot cable unit, it's only a couple dollars more for twice the length!

I go this kit to replace my broken controller on a s4500 trailer winch. Installation is simple and straightforward. Worked as it should. The 30ft cord is very handy.
