The original 8-inch coil that came with my Whirlpool stove top was solid construction. The coil was firmly attached to the frame in 3 spots all around the coil. It's solid and would not come apart. I needed a replacement because the coil warped over 15 years, causing an uneven surface that wouldn't heat the pan evenly.This Supplying Demand replacement, however, fell apart in my hands when taking it out of the package. The coil was attached to the frame only in 1 spot, and it was a loose fit. The pieces wouldn't hold together.Also, the coil wasn't level. It was bent. This meant it wouldn't provide even heat to the pan. Only 1 side of the pan would be getting heat.I returned it without trying to install it. It was junk. Don't buy. I haven't found a suitable third party replacement yet. The only solution might be to buy the expensive OEM replacement coil directly from Whirlpool.

I have an old Kenmore range Model #362.91202001. The serial number is mostly rubbed off, but I think this range is an 86 model. It's black and white, still looks good and the oven still works great but I was down to one burner. This model has three 6" burners and one 8". After looking at new stoves I decided for under 15 bucks I would give it a shot to try to restore the one big burner. I received it last night, plugged it in and it instantly got hot. It boiled a big pot of water for pasta within minutes. Now I need to find the right 6" burner replacements.

The prongs were bent some, but was easy to move back in place. Burner works great and a lot better than spending 50.00 from the dealer.

These burners are great! They fit just right and they look so good! Iām so glad I bought these. Sears wanted to charge me $110 each! How ridiculous they are! These were a great buy!
