When I saw subwoofer pole mounts for an incredibly low price, I was excited at the possibility.Typically a subwoofer pole mount is around 35mm in diameter, and around a meter in length. When the package arrived that could realistically fit in my back-pocket I was perplexed. How could this be?So I revisited the product listing, and the first picture looks exactly like what I was expecting. So did the second picture… and the third. Then I opened the next picture, where I could actually see the scale of these things, and there, as plain as day, was a photo of these diminutive little fellas in the palm of a hand. And the next picture the product dimensions we spelled right out. This is when I knew the mistake was entirely mine. The seller adequately did show both a scale comparison as well as the actual product dimensions. Or did they? The first few photographs are incredibly misleading. I also feel that based on the initial pictures, most people in the market for a subwoofer pole would believe that this product would fit the bill. I cannot be the only person that has been surprised by this product. If the seller doesn’t change the order of the images so the dimensions or scale comparison are shown in the first position, I can assure you I won’t be the last to make this error. So why did I give it 5 stars? The quality is there. These are well made, even though I cannot even imagine them being used as a subwoofer pole mount. So this begs the question: What the heck do these things fit? I have no idea. They must be tiny and incredibly cute!

Well-built and strong (VERY) short polesIn the listing there are pictures which mention "reverse tooth" design for better hold, and in the text of the listing it talks about "reverse thread". I made the assumption that reverse tooth was what was meant by the Reverse thread wording in the text of the listing. But nope, these are definitely reverse threaded. You can screw them in to each other, but that's about it.I thought for a second that I hadn't realized speaker mounts are actually reverse threaded, so I checked. I don't see anything indicating that regular speaker / subwoofer poles are anything out of the ordinary. What possible use would these have being reverse threaded? M20 mounts seem to be regular threading as with everything else. Not sure what's intended here. They are definitely built well though, so 3 stars. -2 for contradicting listing and for me not knowing any way these would be useful. If I find out it's my mistake then I'll modify it.
