Nice outlets with a good night light. Big improvement over having plug in night lights throughout the house. Much better to look at. Fantastic customer service as well. I had one bad outlet and they shipped a replacement the same day I contacted customer service.

Note: Please be careful when doing electrical work. Follow the usual precautions like cutting power to the outlets you are working on and checking that the power is really off before touching anything. Please work with a certified electrician if you are not absolutely sure of what you are doing.These are good quality and sturdy replacement outlets. Installation is fairly simple as you just have to connect the wires in the new outlet exactly as they were connected in the old one. They are not larger or more bulky than normal outlets. You can choose to use the provided wall plates (hidden screws) or use the wall plates you already have. After installation all the outlets worked great.The nightlights are quite dim and that is fine for my needs but your milage may vary. They are off when there is enough ambient light and only come on when it gets quite dim outside, which is exactly as they should work.Overall these are really nice. I no longer have to plug in nightlights thus freeing up the outlets. Also children can no longer pull out the night lights.

Update: left a review here (3 star) and company reached out asap. I asked for just one replacement outlet, and they sent me a whole new package of 5. My review is now 5 stars based on product and customer service.Great outlet and light, unfortunately only 4 of 5 worked (the night light only, plug worked) and everytime I email the company from their website the email is undeliverable. Best price for 5 tho that I found.

While I can’t speak to long-term durability just yet, I’m really enjoying these outlets so far.The built-in night light gives off a soft, warm glow that’s just right—enough to safely light the space without being too bright or taking up a socket. It’s a smart solution for hallways, bedrooms, or anywhere you want a bit of light at night without adding bulky plug-ins.The subtle guide light is especially helpful for kids, seniors, and pets, making nighttime movement safer without disturbing sleep. Overall, I’m really pleased with how functional and well-designed these outlets are. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add safety and convenience to their home! I used two of them in my dining room. I plan on installing more in other rooms, like right inside my front door entryway and hallway. Makes navigating the house in the middle of the night much easier and safer.

I’ve started plugging in nightlights into unused sockets around the home, in order keep form stepping on toys or a sleeping pet if I wander the home at night. These looked like a potentially better alternative to obtrusive nightlights, since they’re more subtle and still leave the outlet free for use. I’d say that they’re pretty much exactly what I wanted.The installation is very simple. With the electricity turned off, you just swap out your existing wall plate and electrical outlet. I found that the screws that fasten the new LED outlet to the existing outlet box didn’t catch the threads easily, and after several frustrating attempts I gave up and just reused the original screws. The outlet covers are two pieces, with the middle plate having the screws and the outer plate used to hide the middle plate (and screws). It’s aesthetically cleaner to look at. Just beware that the inner plate is very thin, so you don’t want to overtighten the two screws that fasten that inner plate, or you may snap it. As I was tightening these two screws, I noticed the inner plate began to bend and so I quickly backed off. The outer plate just snaps onto the middle plate, and it’s a little tricky to get off so make sure everything’s tightened before you snap that outer cover on.These outlets put out a good amount of light when it’s dark and the light sensors are responsive. The only complaint I have is that if you do end up plugging something into the lower socket, it will block much of the light from the LED, but that’s the price you pay for having an integrated LED. It would be nice to have the lights at the bottom of the lowest receptacle, or along the sides. Still, this set up is much better than plugging in night lights all over the house. Overall, I do recommend these LED outlets if they are unused most of the time.
