I was so looking forward to my first Surfire light for my Glock. But the light came defective and doesn’t turn on. I remove the battery insulator as instructed and light doesn’t turn on. Battery must be dead or item is defective.

I love the light I just need more lights for all my firearms. I put it on the weapon I carry currently it’s on my ar but usually it’s on my Glock 17. I sometimes put it on my 12 gauge so I need to buy probably 4 more lol it’s worth the money and customer service helped me when I lost the screws. They sent me all 4 for free no questions asked. Light is high power and does get super hot if left on. I honestly love it and hope they can help if I buy several because they are a little pricy.

Its a surefire - so it works as expected. I like the switch system for the functions - its low profile and easy to use.

As with all items surefire they are excellent and you can bet your life on them... but they ain’t cheap. I’ve talked about my experiences with surefire customer support in other reviews but in short they are excellent and make the price more manageable. Overall I’m happy with this light even it is WAY overpriced for what it is. There are other good companies making great products like Streamlight and the ultra affordable Olight but I have to bet my life on it I’d want to have a surefire. I’ve only had a couple of instances where I needed it to work and they Surefire has always come through. One was on our way back from big bend my friend had a flat on his pop up camper. His flashlight was out of batteries and it was the middle of the night and my primary light was packed away in the camper. The only other light we had was my x300u mounted on my Glock. I took it off the Glock and it provided us with plenty of light to patch the tire and re-inflate it which was a little over an hour. Battery w as still running strong. In short they are great lights but I wish they were priced where Streamlight is which is way more manageable. I don’t use the masterfire holster for this particular light so I can’t say if it works or not but I have this particular light mounted on a Springfield Operator in 45acp. The pistol has an aluminum frame and it still holds well. I like the mounting system this has vs the older x300 quick detach mounting system. On this particular pistol I can Mount this optic down and it will have zero movement. The x300 QD mounting system has just a tiny bit of play which drives me crazy. I think the issue with that one is that most railed 1911’s are not built to spec except for the Colt railguns. The rail is a little shorter on my Springfield so it doesn’t hold as tight whereas the x300 holds still on my colts. Anyway I would buy this product again... it’s been great so far.

XH35を先に購入して使用していたが、マックスビジョンの光の拡散が広過ぎて、使い勝ってが良くなかった。今回XH30を購入し使い比べたら、やはり光の収束が私の好みで、とても使い易いです。大変満足しています。

Honestly, I was less than impressed with this light. While it's pretty bright, the light wasn't as bright of a white as I'd come to expect (my MagLight LED has a much sharper white, as does my other weapon lights (1 SureFire, 1 StreamLight). That said, my biggest complaint is that the light needs a really big rail to mount to (will not fit a Sig 220 or 226, let alone a 229). Won't fit a H&K P30/VP9, Glock 19. The list goes on and on. It will fit a H&K P30L and Sig 320 X-Five (it will probably fit a full-size 320, but it will not fit the 320 compact). Yes, it's a big light, but if the rail were designed just a little differently, it would greatly open up what the light could work with.
