So far, I am very happy with these skates. Its hard for me to find shoes that fit and skates are no exception. I want to get back into the hobby and after purchasing several other skate brands, I felt like I may as well pursue another hobby. Most skates were too narrow or the material was either too stiff or didn't feel too durable. After some research and a particular YT chan Dirty School of Skate that recommended these as a good beginner skate for people with wider feet, I was intrigued.I went ahead and ordered these and they fit as if I always had them! I couldn't wait to go to my local skate shop and have these customized for my needs because tb, the wheels that were on these were glassy smooth and I was worried about slipping too much (I'm not at a higher experience level, yet). I opted for softer wheels that had more grip, a toe stopper that was larger (because the ones it came with were too small and didn't seem beginner friendly), and much longer laces because I have very thick ankles (cankles I believe they call it lul) so I chose some 96" laces and voilà, they fit snug but comfortable. I can't say much for durability, but, I look forward to leaving a review in regard to that after a few trips to the rink.

I am a beginner skater. These are by far the best skates I have ever tried coming from someone with two left feet. I could never balance on skates and used to fall all over the place, not to mention skating around the rink was nearly impossible without causing accidents. With these skates I do truly feel more confident as they feel like they have great traction on the rink floor. I didn't fall even once and I was able to skate around with some level of confidence. My feet were so comfortable in these and they fit amazing. The plate is nice and tight on turns which I like since I'm new to the skate community and it helps me learn how to balance and move during my lessons. All equipment is adjustable. I will be getting a pair of sure grips boardwalk wheels when I'm ready to skate outside for more practice. I truly recommend these to any beginner or person's with two left feet! My instructor thought I could actually skate well enough to make it around the rink and told me with enough practice I could be great within a few weeks. That was such a a compliment coming from her since I have only been skating for 1 week fully. Get these skates! You won't regret it!

Nunca había comprado esta marca de patines, estaba muy emocionada ya que coleccionó patines. Son unos patines muy cómodos, por dentro están súper acojinados y realmente se sienten bien en cuanto pones tu pie adentro.La bota es rígida pero cómoda, pesan menos porque la placa es de plástico pero aún así se ven resistentes. Lamentablemente tuve que devolverlos porque me quedaron un poco grandes y a mí me gusta que me queden con muy poco juego en la punta de los dedos. Intente con una plantilla lo cual hizo que quedaran más cómodos aún pero aún así los seguía sintiendo grandes. Es por eso que los devolví. Pero definitivamente son de muy buena calidad, cómodos y bonitos. Revisa bien la tabla de medidas yo compré una talla 5 de hombre, pero creo que la 4 de hombre me quedaría bien. Mi pie mide 22.5 cm lamentablemente el número 4 de hombre tardaba un mes en llegar. Es por eso que no lo pedí.

This is my first set of skates. I wasn’t sure I’d keep skating, so I was looking for decent inexpensive skates. These have really changed my skating from the rentals. I’ve gotten them adjusted pretty well and have learned to skate a lot better. The wheels on these seem ok and they’re definitely way more comfortable than the rental skates. My only real complaint is that the faux leather stuff they’re made from seems to scuff pretty easily. As a new skater, I’ve wiped out several times and have scuffs and scrapes all over them.

I grew up skating and JBing with my friends. While looking to get a bit more active as an adult I wanted to get into rhythm skating and find a good pair of starter skates. after extensive research I learned REIDELL is king but also expensive. I found a lot of skaters would wear Sure-grip and some swear by their wheels.After comparing cheaper types from Chicago and others I decided on Sure Grip Fames. I am very happy with my purchase. First off it came early so that is always good in my book. The skates are brand new, need adjustments but what skates don’t need some adjustment.I have not gotta out on the floor with them yet just around my place and I had to take the off because they are so comfortable and my apt flooring isn’t skate around friendly lol. True to size for me I wear a 9 narrow to med Wi date adn these fit perfectly snug but my toes aren’t crunched. I measure my foot in inches and mm to make sure. These are the first pair of skates I have ever purchased I would always rent speed skates. I do plan on replacing my bearings and wheels asap. I am 140 so I don’t think the nylon plate will be a problem. I plan on using these for indoor and outdoor use until I can save to get a pair of OGs or Juices.In conclusion…- they fit true to size. I am a 9 narrow but my feet can swell a bit and the feet comfortable while wearing them around.- lining id the softest lining I have felt in a skate ever.- The price, quality and reputation of the brand can’t be beat if you don’t have REIDELL or Chicago Lifestyle money.- The writing on the wheels are clearly messed up but honestly it looks more intentional design than malfunction so its honestly not a big deal its a wheel people.I will update this review in a few months after some real world use. But I am very happy with my purchase so far.
