I got this surfboard rack as a gift for my nephew, who recently got really into surfing. It turned out to be a very practical and well-received present. The rack feels sturdy and holds up to four boards easily — including both shortboards and longboards. The two-tier design helps save space, and the wheels make it easy to move around if needed. He set it up in his garage, and now his boards are much better organized than before. It’s not a flashy gift, but it’s useful and shows that I put some thought into what he’d actually need. I’m glad he liked it, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, solid storage solution for surfboards.

This rack is great for more than just surfboards. It can hold a decent amount of weight, and allows you to store boogie boards, wakeboards, paddleboards, skis as well as life jackets, beach chairs and other equipment. I love that it’s on wheels, so you can wheel it over to the car and load/unload everything and then wheel it back into place. It makes storage easy, and you don’t need to drill any holes, which is great if you’re renting.

This surfboard rack was fairly easy to assemble, though the padding on each of the dividers was a bit tedious to install and took some extra effort to get just right. One issue I noticed during setup is that when tightening the bolts, the paint started to bubble in some areas—so I do have some concerns about how it will hold up over time, especially in humid or salty environments.That said, I’m really pleased with how functional and versatile the rack is. I ended up using it for all of our beach gear—not just surfboards, but also boogie boards, our beach umbrella, chairs, and even our beach cart. It looks great in our garage and helped save a ton of space. The wheels make it super easy to move around when needed.Overall, it’s a solid and attractive storage solution with a few minor cosmetic drawbacks. Still, I’m really happy with the organization it brought to our space.
