Nice smooth needles, with the proper point, not too sharp and not too blunt. Feel good in my hands to knit with.

A good price for a large selection of sock needles.

I bought these to supplement or replace a previous set. They are made of aluminum, so I tend to bend them easily in the course of knitting. And when I misplace one and sit on it...it fared far less well than my thigh, which was unscathed. What I don't reduce to twisted metal with nothing more than my fingers, I reduce to twisted metal even more unintentionally when I misplace the needles. This does not mean the needles are of poor quality. I also break or bend needles of other types and of other materials. I even bend my sewing needles in the course of a project. These would probably hold up beautifully for people who don't have hands as strong as mine.

These are the worst knitting needles I have ever bought! The workmanship is shoddy- they aren't even all the same length within the same size. They also came all jumbled up together in one package, so I don't even know what size they are without using my knitting needle sizer. Also, the service was terrible- it took 6 days to get when it usually only takes 2.

I knit 2 socks as a pair in the works so that both will finish close together. Could not use the one sock knitted first by itself anyway. I have several sock pairs started in different colors and patterns and sizes. Taking turns working on the different ones. I take a box of one in the works to an appointment when I wait for my husband. Handy hobby to take along. I have ordered extra sets to donate to friends who want to learn knitting.

I purchased this set because I had a project that required 1.5 mm and 1.75 mm needles. Here you are getting 4 sets of needles for about the price of one set of the more expensive brands. You get what you pay for.Pros: They are inexpensive. They are very pointy. They have a little bit of grip which helps them not to slip out of stitches too easily if you are a loose knitter.Cons: The needles are color coded, but there is nothing to indicate which size the color corresponds to. I worked out that pink = 1.75 mm and blue = 1.5 mm. However, I noticed that there was one pink that was definitely smaller than the others. I measured them with calipers and found I actually had 4 pink 1.75 mm, 5 blue 1.5 mm, and one pink 1.25 mm. Also, these needles are very flimsy and bend easily. One needle came pre-bent.Bottom line, if you need a set of fine needles only for one or two projects, these will probably be okay. But if these are tools you think you are going to use more regularly, consider spending the extra money on a higher end product.

I do love the sizes of the needles and the value. They're easy to work with. But I'm knitting baby mittens in a cream-colored yarn and the cuffs are coming out *pink as I'm working with the pink needles. I undid my work, washed the needles with Dawn and warm water, rubbed them a ton with paper towels and restarted. Still pink... I'm hoping it will wash out of the fabric when I'm finished, especially because these mittens are for a baby boy! I see another reviewer mentioned using Windex, so I'll try that. Happy with the needles except for this. I suppose if I were using any yarn other than cream/white then it would probably be fine, but it is frustrating that the dye rubs off onto your work. And also true as the other reviewers have mentioned that they don't have labels or any indication to show which size is which. I've just been comparing how they feel in my fingers to try to figure out which are bigger and smaller. I'll try to post an update about whether the dye washes out of my work when I'm finished.*Edit: I washed the needles a few times and with Windex and it fixed the problem. You have to wash them enough times that the hue visibly comes off of the needle (i.e. my pink ones are now a very light pink). I do have one that has bent, but the others have been fine as I’ve gotten better at using such small needles. I’m half way through my project and have been enjoying them just fine. Just be sure to wash them first if you’re using white yarn!
