The set includes a roller molding device for churning out sushi rolls, a nigiri two-part mold-and-press tool, and a recipe handbook and instructions. The roller in the Sushi Magic kit is the only sushi roller that makes California rolls with a choice of rice or nori on the outside, and it has the only nigiri mold that presses seafood, wasabi, and rice together to shape professional quality sushi in the home kitchen. The kit is great for throwing a sushi party, preparing appetizers, and making healthy meals.

I highly recommend this product. I love sushi rolls and have tried to make them in the past, unsuccessfully. I am all thumbs. My Sushi rolls looked like they were made by a 5 year old that was in the thralls of a sugar rush. I had a colorful pile of rice and other ingredients.Enter “Sushi Magic.” After I got this product, I became a wizard of sushi! I have used it as least once per week to make amazing sushi! My friends and relatives have been amazed! I used to be the black sheep of the family, now I am the favorite. New relatives show up regularly wanting to try my sushi. My self-esteem has gone up considerably. Women keep hitting on me wanting me to make sushi for them! This really annoys my wife.Pros – Well-made product, simple to use, easy to care for, recipe book included.Cons – May cause unwanted fame and attention. You will most likely end up making sushi rolls on a regular basis. Women will all of the sudden find you irresistible. (If you’re a woman, I guess men will find you irresistible, unless your hot or own and liquor store, which makes you already irresistible.)

Meh, not much better than a bamboo mat. The handles of the roller are child sized , you can get a good grip to form the rolls making it awkward to use. The so called tutorials on the website are mostly commercials and they are useless to learn how to roll a sushi with nori on the outside.

I didn't care much about the non-stick mat, but I wasn't buying this kit for it either. The actual magic to me is in the nigiri sushi form. It worked like a charm! Easy and fast way to make nigiri sushi. like the uniformity of the finished pieces, and it made decoration job a fun and pleasant experience. Even my father, who cares for taste a lot, but, usually, totally ignores the presentation aspects, mentioned how nice table looked when came to join us for sushi. The booklet that came with the box has a few nice recipes in it, and instructions are clear and easy to understand. Very nice set to have, or to give as a present to those who appreciate sushi.

Mis-manufactured with arrows on the roller pointing in the wrong direction. No "textured area" on mold end for securing the roll as described in the booklet that comes with it. Easy-to-overlook (and lose) two carelessly packaged rubber "o" rings that need to be placed over the ends of the roller for a reason not explained at all. Booklet replete with misspellings and very hazy instructions.Save your money. I returned mine.

Price was fair, shipping was fast. The product itself is cheap - the handle always comes apart when rolling sushi. I have tried the Nigiri part yet. The mat gets sticky and dirty from rolling one sushi and you can't simply wipe down - you have to wash off. I am wondering if I would have been better off with a bamboo rolling mat??? Vendor was easy to deal with and no complaints on their behalf. Okay product - a little disappointed at the "cheapness" of it.

No way to tell as yet, I have not used it. It looks good, however, the Nori rolls look as difficult to use as the old bamboo mats. I much prefer the Sushezi tool, which I also purchased from Amazon. The rice moulds look like they would be a great aid and appear very easy to use to make sushi with a topping.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves Sushi but is intimitated to try making it...for this system is sooooo easy to use.... its super quick....and it looks and tastes just like you see at a Sushi restaurant!!I tried the Sushi Master Sushi Maker several years ago. And while it would work (sometimes!!)... the quality didn't even come close to this one since it doesn't roll the Sushi...it only presses it.... plus it can't make Nigri like the Sushi Magic Kit!!! And cleanup is a breeze.... you just take off the two rubber bands on the one end and unsnap the other end and the entire unit washes up in a zip!! I took a Sushi making class a few months ago....and it was fun. It was only a 2 1/2 hour class and the instructor had the bamboo rollers all prepped with the plastic wrap to make the rolls with the rice on the outside. And while I was able to make it work...there is no comparison with the way it turns out witht he Magic Kit.... in case you can't tell....I just love it....and I'll be having sushi for dinner tonight!!!

I have to admit I was skeptical when I first saw the online infomercial for the SushiMagic. After reading several positive reviews here on amazon, I decided to give it a try, but I'm also really not talented at this kind of thing so I figured my luck with it would be mediocre at best. I was definitely proven wrong! Within a few minutes of my SushiMagic's arrival, I was ready to roll, literally!Keep in mind, I've never made sushi before in my life, so I'm as blank of a slate as you can get when it comes to proving if this thing works like it claims to. Indeed it does.Assembly and cleaning are very simple and once I got the hang of it my rolls were coming out great. I could not recommend this product more highly, since I tend to spend a good deal of money on restaurant sushi every month. Now I'll be making it at home a lot more often.I've posted a pictures of one of my first rolls, hope this review encourages someone to give it a try, you'll definitely not regret it.
