I got this shelf for my locker at work. It is just the right width so that I can hang an extra scrub suit on one side and not have to worry about it getting wrinkled and still have access to all the pockets of the shelf. I love the sturdy hangers for the top and the ability to adjust the top to the length I need. What I didn't love is knowing that almost every locker is made with those hangers but having no other way to hang out so that the top shelf isn't impinged upon a it is. I'm grateful for the separate shelf bottoms or all of my things would completely slide off. They do lean but I'm guessing that is in part due to the uneven hanging at the top. The bottoms of the shelves are velcro'd so that the boards could be removed and the material washed but I'm certainly convinced I should cut my own pieces for reinforcement and place in there. It might be possible to replace the pieces entirely with something more sturdy.

I have this in our guest bedroom so when the grandkids come over, they have someplace to keep their books, crafts, etc. handy. Not as sturdy as I would prefer, but should hold up fine. Can hang on the rod or the shelf. We hung on shelf as it seems it would not stay positioned correctly on the rod.

I actually use this in my closet for organizing small purses and the like. Super easy to hang up and stores things neatly. No more mess in my closet floor!
