I ordered this Suuker Ruffle Piping Tips, Stainless Steel Vintage Cake Piping Tips, Frosting Piping Kit for Baking with Pastry Bags and Tips baking set to add to my collection of piping tips and pastry bags.I love baking and have a lot of fun using piping tips to decorate cakes, cookies and other baked goods. You can also use the tips and pastry bag to pipe filling into savory dishes.This nine piece set includes a silicone pastry bag, seven assorted tips, and a plastic coupler. The silicone bag is lightweight but sturdy; I prefer a reusable bag to the flimsy plastic throwaway single use bags that are so popular these days. The think plastic ones have a tendency to split, leaving my hands covered with icing or deviled egg or cannoli filling.This set is slightly unusual in that all seven decorative piping tips are ruffle designs. I have a wide collection of tips, but if you’re just starting out, be aware that each of these tips is designed to create an elaborate ruffled effect. If you’re looking for round tips, leaf tips, etc, they aren’t in this set. That being said, the ruffled piping tips create cool effects with icing; take a close look at the cupcakes in the sales photo to see what I mean.The sales page doesn’t say if these are dishwasher safe) I usually wash my kitchen silicone by hand anyway, so that’s what I did. It cleaned up quickly and easily. The coupler and tips are probably okay in the dishwasher (I’d put the plastic coupler on the top shelf) but ai usually hand wash these, too, so I can be sure I’ve cleaned every nook completely. If you do put these in the dishwasher, I recommend using a net bag or something similar to contain them; you don’t want a loose metal tip flying around the inside of your dishwasher. When I do put piping tips and couplers in the dishwasher (like during Christmas baking season, when things can back up in the kitchen a bit) I pop them in a perforated plastic case left over from washing my son’s bottle pieces when he was tiny,At the current price ($12.98) I think you get fair value. I’ve seen larger sets of piping tips for less, but they usually come with the lightweight plastic bags that burst. In my favorite cookware store, single piping tips can sell for anywhere from $1 to many dollars apiece; for a speciality set like this (all tips designed to make ruffle effects) I think the price is is ai reasonable.Nice for expanding your baking equipment; could be cute in a kitchen gift basket for a wedding shower or housewarming.

The tips arrived exactly as shown in the pictures, and everything in the box was perfect—nothing was broken, dented, or rusted.I usually avoid products that use AI-generated images or poorly photoshopped pictures, but so far, these tips are great.The set includes seven stainless steel vintage cake piping tips, one pastry bag, and one plastic coupler. I have previously received products that claimed to be stainless but ended up rusting, so I’ll definitely follow up on this review if I see even a speck of rust. For now, it seems they don’t stick to a magnet, which is expected, as most common types of stainless steel—specifically austenitic stainless steels (like grades 304 and 316)—are non-magnetic. In contrast, some types of stainless steel, such as ferritic stainless steel (like grade 430), are magnetic and will attract a magnet.Usually to identify the type of steel used on a kitchen utensil, look for a stamped identification code on the utensil itself, which usually indicates the grade of stainless steel using a format like "18/8" or "18/10," where the first number represents the percentage of chromium and the second represents the percentage of nickel; if no code is visible, you can sometimes identify the type by its magnetic properties or by comparing its appearance and performance to known steel types.In this case they have no markings so i just compare with other stainless tips and kitchen utensils and they seem well made and the weld spots are nicely done too.So far, I have washed and reused these tips, and they are holding up well. They don’t feel thin or flimsy either, so everything seems good for now.

There is a learning curve to using these and I've almost mastered three of them. I'm working on the holding angles a little more to be consistent on the cake. Once I get comfortable enough, I can get more creative with them.I also like the reusable piping bag and coupler set that's included. Great value at $9.89 (price at the time of this review) with a 20% off coupon offer. This is a fun set . . . see what you can do!

This kit is good for my cake decorating needs, and the quality of the stainless steel tips is great. They are easy to clean, and the skirt design gives my cakes a beautiful look.The set includes a good variety of tips, making it easy for different decorating styles. Definitely a must have for anyone who loves baking and wants to take their decorating to the next level.

This is a great little set for those who want to start decorating, or who only do so rarely. It is very compact, the silicone bag is amazing! So easy to clean! The tips have a variety and both the tips and the bag are strong enough for even thick things like deviled egg filling. Super happy with them. The only nitpick, is that the tip of the bag was a little small, so I had to really force the collar in there. I might clip it a little bit to fit easier. This would be a great newlywed gift, as it's quite versatile.

Fun to play with. My niece and I had fun playing with the different tips and decorating cupcakes for her class. Cleaning was not the most fun but not terrible me either.
