Great variety, great price. Like the case for travel. But the connection is not as smooth as I prefer. Okay on cotton yarn, but i think delicate wool would get torn up a bit on these. They also smell like an oil or chemical, but it washes off.Would i buy them as my only needles? No. I'm experienced enough that this does not bother me much and I'm happy to fill out the needle sizes i was missing. I think i would teach a beginner on a better set.

I also bought them in a case! Not sure, but the needles look soooooooo long that it may be impossible to use these correctly!!! Also, they are not marked inside!!! I used a marker and put the number on the plastic! Really?

This is a fantastic set for a beginning knitter, and although I’m not a beginning, knitter, the case that the needles came in was worth the price of the set! Love that I can put all my circular needles in one spot and slip it right into my knitting bag

While the value is good, the quality is not. The needles are dull, and it is very difficult to put them back in once you take them out of the carrying case. I suppose they would be good for beginners, but if you are more advanced I'd recommend getting a more durable set, even if it is more expensive.

Needles came in a nice pouch. What I like about them is that they’re metal, which allows the stitches to slide so much easier. Before I had bamboo needles to which the stitches stuck. I really needed to push them forward. Also, the cord between the needles is a little thicker and doesn’t curl up on itself, which, again, was a problem with my bamboo ones. I learned that could soak the cord in hot water, but in spite of that, the cord still turned around itself. I’m thrilled that that doesn’t happen with these circular needles.

This set of circular knitting needles is a decent set - the 40” cables are a little long for things like hats and even sweaters, but good for things like shawls, and blankets etc. You can use the 40” also for magic loop. The other needles in this set are 16” which are good for sleeves, hats and children’s sweaters. The other size you should look for are 24” to 32” but are not in this set.Most of the joins were fine, but I did notice a slightly catchy join on the largest size needle.Overall this is an affordable set of circular needles which offers good value for beginners, but you would want to expand your set with other length circulars.
