This is a pretty awesome set for the price.The hooks are pretty light weight and comfortable in the hand. They function as intended and the yarn glides over them really nicely. They have a super shiny finish and have been machined well enough so that the yarn does not snag. The hook size is etched into the thumb rest which is nice. As I read the reviews on the wooden set where the hook size was rubbing off. These are pretty pointy and being metal can poke a finger. However, I have not experienced any yarn splitting.Moving on .. the pictures show them compared to a Denise tunisian hook. Which, I finally had enough frustration from the cord unlocking it's self and having to frog half to entire rows. The cords that come with this set swivel at both ends so it doesn't matter which end you screw into the hook or which end you screw into a connector or stopper. Other than the Denise tunisian hook set, I don't own any other tunisian hooks/cords so I can't compare to any others. I've only tightened the cord and stopper by hand and I have not had the need to use the key or the rubber gripper to tighten them any further. And while I do check on them periodically, neither end has come loose which is pretty awesome.With so many sets to choose from on here - I ulitmately chose this set - as they were a swivel set that came out cheaper at $39 (than some non swivel sets), they already had some good reviews and they came with a nice storage case. And I'm happy to say the case is pretty well made, sturdy and zips with ease. The hooks are easy enough to identify and pull out and put back in with ease. Thanks for reading. Take care y'all.

Very nice hooks. Smooth and lightweight. Great value for what you’re getting. They span a wide range of sizes and the thumb notch is a nice touch. Hook to cable join is smooth. The swivel cables are flexy and smooth passing through loops.I would be pumped if the supplier started selling individual pieces to this set as I have a few patterns that call for double ended hooks and I don’t have a brand that the cables are compatible with already. That being said, for the price I just bought a second whole set because the price can’t be beat.

These hooks are great. I've had no issues so far. Lightweight, smooth, and very good tappered crochet hook heads. The pointiness in the hook head does amazing at getting through stitches. The cables work well and stay attached. Very good set. Highly recommend.

I own a LOT of interchangeable sets. The cables that come with these are P U R P L E and remind me of the red lace Chiagoo cables. The whole set is not just beautiful to look at, but rather it's a bit of a diamond in the rough. Beautiful, funtional, added bonus of cables made of metal with a plastic coating. This means NO stiff, annoying curl in your wire, that gets in the way of your work! The hooks have a bit of a pointy end so I'd watch out if you're using yarn prone to splitting, but that doesn't deter me at all.

This is a very pretty set. The purple wood is lovely. There are different cord lengths and stoppers for the ends. The weight of the hooks isn't heavy which increases comfort. However, I had to give up using them on a bulky yarn with a lot of halo to it. The yarn was sort of loose and wispy, and it kept catching on the slanted part of the 6mm hook under the head. It didn't seem that rough, so I think it was just a very bad match up. I switched to an aluminum hook and had no problems. So while this set is pretty and feels good, I would still recommend an aluminum set unless you need extra friction.

SMOOTH. This is a great set of Tunisian hooks. I use the knife hold and these feel great in my hand and are light. Cables are swivel and lock very well to the hook and the end. Delightful to use- the smoothest Tunisian hooks I have ever used. Great value. Only one minor complaint is that I think the size printed on the needles will wear down/off eventually, but these have been so nice to use that I can't even complain. Highly recommended. These have given me a great crochet experience.

This set is almost absolutely perfect, and for the price point, just get them!Pros:- Hooks are lightweight to the point of me questioning whether they are even metal (they are)- Super smooth finish that allows the yarn to slip easily, and doesn't cause that sticky hand feeling of some crochet hooks- Heads that are both inline AND tapered, and perfectly sharp; allows for quick picking up of stitches without splitting the yarn- Threaded join with the cables is fairly smooth, and not noticeable during use- The cables are nice quality coated metal. They don't kink up and pull of the stitches like some cables do.- There is a great range of sizes! I love a set that goes to 3mm!- The cable stops are really niceCons- The only big con is that the thread is not the size of knitter's pride cables (these are a bit smaller), so I can't use the cables I already have on these. It does come with 4 cables though, so I should be good for a bit.- Nit-picking, but it would be nice to have another finger rest on the opposite side of the hook, not just the one on the front.- Another nit-pick: the size numbers are 100% going to rub off since they are in the finger rest.- I just don't like the aesthetic of the case, though it works just fine, and is well constructed.Overall, a great set of hooks, and I'm happy with how much faster my crocheting is with these over the ones I had before!

This is a beautiful set, and I am new at Tunisian. I am dealing with an issue with the seller due to missing cables and connectors. Hopefully they will make it right as for everyone complaining about the size wearing off just a suggestion. I put a light coat of clear nail polish over it and they don’t rub off I will keep you informed of if the seller fixes the issue in a fast and effective manner.
