Very loose lens mount. The lock is defective and cannot lock the lens at all. Everything I bought from this brand turns out to be with very low quality. Going for cheap and most time you get what you paid for.

I didn't notice any of the looseness that other reviews noted. I did have to remove the nosepiece in order to mount my sv305c camera and obtain infinity focus. This is probably expected as there are threaded holes for the knurled screws.

Got this to mount a ASI 120MM-S astro camera on a Canon EF 75-300mm kit lens. The adapter is a combination of three elements; the last is a M42 female to 1.25" nozzle adapter. I could only get the right backfocus when I took of this last nozzle adapter and screwed on the ASI 120MM-S (which has M42 female thread) on the adapter when I removed this M42-1.25" nozzle adapter.The lock mechanism kicks in when mounted on the EF lens. Turned out the little nob is a not a push button, but a slider : you have to push it towards the camera/eye piece for it to release the EOS EF interface. Works well and is generally of kind of good quality. Certainly need some extra support when doing precise imaging.

I use it to mount my Samyang 135mm lens to my sv405 camera. You just unscrew the eyepiece adapter. Everything fits well enough, but there is too much play in the lens mount, so a heavier lens will droop a tiny bit without being supported. This destroys my focus on the edge where it's separating. Shouldn't be a problem with smaller lenses of if you're able to mount the lens in a way that supports it adequately.

The first adapter I received had obviously been returned and resold. I quickly found out why. The attachment to the Canon lens was very loose. I tried using two different Canon lenses with the same result. I returned it and received a new adapter shortly thereafter. The fit on the lens was better, but it still moved slightly when "locked" in place. This probably isn't much of an issue if you just want to use this visually, but I was hoping to add a camera and not just an eyepiece. The first adapter I received however would be totally unusable in either case. I ended up returning the second adapter and sought al alternative. For reference, infinity focus is not possible using this adapter and the asi294MC pro if also using the 1.25" filter adapter ring on the camera.

I have bought other products from Svbony and they are always good. This is also excellent, well made and well finished I use it on my Canon lens to make it a 500mm telescope.
