I have now had this weathervane at least 3 years. It has stood up well in the elements and still works beautifully. I find that I have to put a few drops of oil in the center core from time to time, but otherwise it requires no attention. The product is very well made of heavy gauge metal. I recommend it.

Arrived quite quickly, a couple weeks total.Roof mount was flat on top of the wide V shape to facilitate their welding of an O-shaped insert for post to be secured with included screw. I found I could squeeze it together for a sharper angle and attach only two of the four holes with my wood screws under my eve so I would not have to seal with silicone from the top, after securing. Unused screw holes stick out from the eve which may never need to be used. The weather vane is not balance perfectly, but will be of no concequence as it is attached to a sleeve that fits over the pin that is secured on the post top, and action is very fluid. The wind speed cups are very fluid also with included bearing which seems high quality and I don't think the rain will degrade it, as it seems protected also. N-E-S-W directional has a securing screw on it also which works nicely. All in all, I am very well pleased now that I have included the dimensions into the references as I had nothing to go by except to just trust that this would be of ample quality.Approx. 20" wide (length of vane) x 25" tall; (28" tall with roof-mount base attached, 4 screw holes)
