My son uses a back float like this for his swim lessons and it works great. If keeps him afloat but allows him to have move freely. It’s good for beginner swimmers. I really like that there is an option to remove layers to decrease buoyancy until he can swim freely. I haven’t been able to try this exact float yet because it is off season for swimming.
