Had it 9 months and already went out on me. It says it has a one year manufacturer warranty, I am trying to contact them to see. I bought this August 22, 2024 and already having to replace it! No wonder they no longer makeThem.

Opened up the box and a used one in there it was used for sure still had pipe glue on it and rusted

Hooked up correct line voltage to the 2 identified connections on rear of motor, switched on circuit breaker, which immediately flipped off. Reading on LCD screen stated error code 298 which was listef in manual. Attempted resetting breaker several more times, same.Returnef unit.

I purchased this as a replacement to my Pentair Super Flo pump. It is definitely an upgrade from the single stag pump. It is quiet, quick to prime and easy to install. I would recommend it.

The pool market is overpriced and its good to see viable alternatives available. My drive of the pentair VS motor (3HP) gave out. The motor is made in such a way that parts are expensive ($1200 for the drive so often people replace the entire unit (normally $2100). Additionally, the drive's circuit components are covered by putty so you cannot repair.This was the exact size of the Pentair and replacement was a 30 minute process after viewing a video by Haywood Pools on YT.I also purchased this with the Asurion warranty for my peace of mind.

After installing and emailing seller I am informed there is no app as the manual and description stated. No way to properly set clock as it is supposed to be set by linking to app. Other than that it seems to run ok, just difficult to set to proper time. No help from seller at all.

The pump was easy to install. Fit the same as the Pentacle pump it replaced.

To borrow from Peter Griffin, what grinds my gears is the lack of competition in the pool equipment market. I was eager to give this a shot.It shipped with the unions necessary to join into my plumbing and installation was therefore simple. Just dry fit the parts, cut, prime, and cement. Super easy - maybe a 30 minute job.It runs quieter than my previous Intelliflo - and programming is similar and slightly less frustrating.The build quality seems very good, but only time will tell. I’m in CFL, so this pump gets continuous usage. If it holds together for a few years it’ll be very much worth it. A comparable Pentair pump is $2k+.TL/DR: Great product, great price, easy install, good initial build quality - but only time will tell.
