Cord is NOT six foot, closer to two feet or less.Semi-floats. Does NOT sink.Completely inaccurate. Reads 98 when it is on 93.

Bought this for the pool, but it didn't even last the summer. The string became so weak my littlest one could break it. It also floats which is pointless in a pool so I had to tie it low on the ladder which made it difficult to pull up and actually read the temperature.Not worth the money. Look elsewhere.

The string on this pool thermometer can't be replaced.When the string breaks from being in the pool water, the thermometer is a throw away. Useless garbage. It sinks to the bottom.

The thermometer is okay. But the string broke within 2 months. It basically has disintegrated! And no obvious way to replace it except dismantling the whole thermometer.

Accurate. We use on a dock. The cord is too short and I had to tie a weight to make it sink.

The numbers on the thermometer are small, but not so small you can't read it. We have a couple of them in the pool and they're all reading the same, so I have to believe it's accurate. It's a good little thermometer for the price.
