Got two tins of these for $3.99 at Savers, never opened. Realized they don't fit in regular staplers so was going to toss them out. For some reason I kept them around. Then today, picked up a Bostitch Heavy Duty Model 8310HDS stapler at Savers for $5.99, virtually brand new. Lo and behold, tried the Optima staples in it and it worked fine. The 3/8" staples will handle up to 55 pages.If there are no Savers stores near you, it's a discount store that sells donated products for real cheap. Usually the donated items are from loved ones who passed on, too low in value for Craigslist but too much of a shame to throw out. I can't tell you how many bargains I've found there.

You're not gonna believe this, but these fit the Swingline Optima Stapler. It's almost like they were made for each other. The legs on these staples are long enough to easily hold about 70 pages, without fighting to get the legs to "hook" at the back of the paper. These are too tall to fit into my old, two-bit, paltry stapler - the one I believed to be sufficient all these years. Trying to put these into that hack was like trying to put Michael Jordan's pants on 5 year old.Bottom Line: If you're going to splurge for these staples, you probably ought to go all out and get the matching stapler. Then hang on - life is gonna change in ways you never thought possible.

not sure but I think I paid 30 bucks for 3 little packs of staples. I guess I was expecting more? careful here.

Well made, ergonomically perfect, these staples complement the Swingline 70 stapler very well. They are slightly pricey for staples, but I believe they are well worth it. I have 4 boxes of them to use with my Swingline Optima 70 machine. A great combo.
