This metal construction stapler is durable and designed for quality stapling from a desk or counter top. The positive locking latch makes sure staples are in proper position for seamless use. This stapler opens for tacking to post papers to a bulletin board or other vertical surface. Its anvil also rotates for a pinning function to create temporary staples. A low staple indicator on the side of the magazine makes it easy to identify when staples have run out. This full size stapler holds a full strip of 210 staples. For high use settings (like at an office) this stapler has amazing value for money. It's all metal (minus the synthetic rubber base used to prevent the product from moving around while in use, and a plastic cap with the Swingline logo) and is build incredibly sturdy. The stapler mechanism glides through paper, easily binding as many sheets as you can throw at it. The build quality is great and I definitely see this product lasting a life time.

I have been using this product for about 50 years. Never had an instance where I regretted using this item. A year or so age, I"Iost" my stapler. I bought a replacement from the same manufacturer and it wa cheaper. It failed at FIRST use. Buy the BLACK Swingline, IT"S the BEST!!!

Okay, I have been looking for a stapler at office supply stores and couldn't believe the outrageous prices!! So, I went online to Amazon Prime and ordered this beautiful Swingline Stapler! It arrived and it was metal and beautiful!! Even the expensive ones in the stores were plastic! This is a great Stapler at a great price!
