The material is not thermal. It's like a microfiber. Would probably be warm but it's like wearing 2 pairs of clothing. Will return

We had some super cold weather coming in and I grabbed these for myself. They are so warm, soft and cozy. I can even wear them under my jeans for extra warmth. I was worried about washing them but I have several times and they become softer.

They are very silky and comfortable but are not what I call thermal. They don't keep in any body warmth at all. Waffle weave items are much better.
