The photo on Amazon shows that it can be adjusted from 2700K to 5000K. This is incorrect. The back of the item received is not adjustable. It is 2700K which agrees with the description but not with the photo. Thus, it is a different color from all my other recessed lights. Is there a way to exchange the one I received with the one in the photo?

These one piece lights are very modern. We now have them on all three levels of our house. Easy to install and look very nice.

I really like these lights. Some reviewers have complained about difficulty installing them. All you need to do is locate the brackets in the inside of the existing fixture and squeeze the fixture’s spring arms to fit in the brackets. Then just push up on the light and the fixture slides in nice and snug.

Great for 6 inch housing fit snug.For the 5 inch housing the spring holder sticks out farther than 5 inches so each one had to be taken apart and bent to provide clearance

I bought a house and the pot light cover was missing I had put a Led bulb in but it always made the ceiling light in finished .. I bought this .. and installed it in about 3 minutes .. what a difference … bright light .. finished look inexpensive. .. Perfect 👍

EDIT:I will add a star - what I was hearing was not from this brand of light. I don’t see anything negative about this light. It’s been a great experience. Everything else in this review is good to go.Easy install, color is right, works well with dimming switch. Downside, there’s a subtle buzz that’s enough to distract me when I’m in the middle of a conversation. For those not easily distracted, it really isn’t loud. I struggle with ADD, it’s loud enough.

If you have a home that has had recessed lighting installed in the past few decades, that means you probably have a can inserted into your ceiling with a 6 inch to 10 inch space where a socket exists at the top in the center.For years people just simply installed a fun light bulb into this type of fixture and many people just accepted that air from the room was just vented upward through these cans. In northern regions, during the winter heated rooms had their heated air sent to the crawlspace or attic through recessed lighting.Stepping forward, many folks now want to replace these old energy consuming bulbs with energy sipping LED bulbs. For some time LED flood light bulbs were available to purchase, but a new innovation has come to market which is this one which is a flat surface panel with springs on the inside to hold it in place and a wire long enough to reach the socket which has a standard bulb twist screw connector at the end of the wire to connect to the standing socket inside.This allows you to have a flush sealed ceiling with an LED spotlight connected to it with minimal fuss and installation as long as you can reach everything easily do not hide takes under 3 minutes a fixture, and once you do a few you can probably do them in less than a minute each.Unlike some other brands these are not baffles and the filter does show hence of a bright single large Eli D cluster in the center.I don't love the color rendering of these so much for a living room type of space, but if you're looking to retrofit a bunch of them in a playroom or basement, I recommend this set wholeheartedly.
