I had a few of the little small helicopters and they were hard to fly and broke pretty quickly. I saw this one and thought 🤔 could a bigger size actually be easier to fly and how could it last longer? Well they were right! I have had mine almost 2 years now and no matter how many times it has a unscheduled ugly landing after plugging the battery back in it takes off and flies just as well, which is easy enough for almost anyone but still challenging for those who want to become more skilled. I'm not sure if I ever used the spare sets of blades included but probably did but for a few months I couldn't find the controller. I moved and found it unpacking. The helicopter was literally tossed into a box. I went and pulled it out and charged it thinking it wouldn't fly or the battery was shot and Bam!! It flew like brand new! Whenever it does finally get stepped or chewed up by an animal I will get more for my grandkids, myself and my friends. Wow the amazement cat's have seeing it float around is hilarious. Can't miss this toy it's amazing

The Syma S39 helicopter is a fun product to fly around the house and outdoors (no wind). I have experience with the smaller helicopters as I had a couple of them 5 or so years ago. So before you buy, here's what you need to know...Pros1. It hovers and does not fall from the sky. If you've had older helicopters similar to this, you know that as soon as you let go of the lift, you have a rock falling from the sky. That's not the experience you have with this one. As soon as it achieves lift, it maintains it's lift. You can let go of the controls and it will maintain it's exact position. This will help all of the broken blades and pieces of the past.2. It comes with two batteries. Flight time is limited between 5 - 10 minutes, but it's not a problem. I found that the time was enough for the fun of using it and enjoying the experience of flying around.3. The led in the front of the helicopter is fun for "search and rescue". We flew it when it was very dark out and flew very low to the ground pretending we had a "lost people in the deep forest of the grass". My neighbor also had flags in his yard from a cable bury. We flew between the flags (and hit a couple of them along the way. Basically it' was a fun experience outdoors (no wind).4. Indoors the helicopter is close to perfect. A/C vents and/or ceiling fans will toss it around. It is light. Scared the daylights out of my dogs, they barked and barked and barked.5. Should something break, there's an exploded view of the helicopter and a list of part numbers so you know what to replace and what the part is called. I personally like this as something always ends up breaking at some point in the future.6. The controller is very comfortable and resembles a video game controller. Super easy to use. It has settings for (high/low) turbo, the ability to change the trim.7. The range is really good for the helicopter. We went pretty high in the sky (above a two-story house). At the same time, you get more wind so we were afraid we'd land on someone's house. If you keep it low, then you can cover the distance. At the same time, it's not a huge helicopter so you're likely to not know what the helicopter is doing anyways. So range wasn't an issue for me and I was happy with it.8. The packaging is solid. It comes in form-fitting styrofoam so you don't have to worry about a shipping company damaging the product. Mine arrived in perfect condition...with some battery juice to give it a test flight immediately.Neutral1. The documentation could be improved.- It took me a minute how to figure out that the hanging cord was the battery and that there's a port you have to plug it into.- To turn on the helicopter, the documentation says to "open helicopter's power switch". This should read "switch the power on"- There are some items that could be better clarified. Eventually, I figured them out.2. Pairing the controller. It seemed to take some time to get paired. This is neither good nor bad, it's just something that could be improved.Cons (The reason for a loss of a star)1. There's a turbo mode (high/low) for the helicopter, but there's not a visual indicated on the controller that shows you it's on/off. It seems like you can hear it in the helicopter, but it was really hard to tell. Switching it on/off wasn't super noticeable.2. The battery replacement compartment requires a screwdriver to open. This should really just be a simple clip for faster battery exchange. Having to constantly unscrew the battery compartment isn't an enjoyable experience. The goal is to have fun flying as much as possible, not changing batteries.3. If you want to fly it outside, which I did, you have to have near windless conditions. The helicopter is incredibly light. When I flew it outside, even a small breeze pushed the helicopter back and it struggled to go forward. It'd be nice if it could handle a slight breeze.

The helicopter arrived adequately packs. This item included several items to make use easy. The little screwdriver is perfect for anything you needed to tighten on the Helicopter. It came with 2 batteries and USB charging cord. Though the instruction manual is a little vague, the helicopter was fairly simple to set up.Never having flown a remote-control helicopter before, I found it easy to figure out. After several crashes the helicopter was still working fine. Considering it took some pretty hard hits and still worked consistently, I was impressed. It is so lightweight and feels flimsy, I was surprised quite the opposite proves to be true, this helicopter is very durable. Only once did it have a little trouble flying after it hit a wall at a significant speed and one of the rotors got pushed and stuck in one position. It only took a little tug to reset it, then it continued to function as normal. The battery life is approximately 8 minutes of continuous flying, which is more than what it advertises. The nice thing is that it included 2 batteries and they charged pretty fast. We were able to fly the helicopter with one battery while the other was charging. By the time the one we were using needed to be charged the other was ready to go!This is an excellent toy! My 5-year-old enjoyed it a bunch, although I would not recommend allowing a child under 14 to play with it unattended. The rotors sting if touched when spinning. The remote is straight forward and once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to operate. The spot light is a neat feature too. We flew it outside and inside and worked equally well. However, when a little wind started up the helicopter was unable to stabilize and the breeze affected its ability to steer. I assume this is a normal trait of toys like these since they are so lightweight. It is also very appealing to the eye, with great detail. The only thing I found wrong with this product is the plastic cover over the battery. The screw easily stripped and we had to resort to a piece of tape (which worked fine) but as often as you have unscrew or remove the battery, it should be made a little more solid.Despite the minor flaw of the battery cover, overall, I give this helicopter 5 stars. For the price and quality, it is an impressive toy for adults as much as kids. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy it again.• Easy to use even if you have never flown a RC helicopter before.• Eye Pleasing.• Durable.• Indoor use.• Great for all ages (although children under 14 should be supervised)• Two batteries to switch out for long flying sessions.
