Heavy enough to be stable and very attractive. Everyone who's seen it has immediately said how much they liked it. Whenever I see it on my living room mantle, it makes me smile. Simple and clean lines. Great value. Highly recommended.

This menorah is quite large. It looks all right from a distance, but it has a cheap appearance close-up, and it feels flimsy and is even slightly bendable. I'd use it for a prop in a play, perhaps, but not to celebrate a holiday.Standard menorah candles do not fit. Chime candles could be used IF the bases were wrapped in foil as the manufacturer suggests (see photo.) Normal taper candles ("dining" candles) are too large. As I wanted to use standard menorah candles, this will not suit my purpose.Because it is so lightweight and tall, I'd also have concerns about it getting tipped over accidentally while the candles were lit.The base must be attached when it arrives.

I was really looking forward to this menorah. When I removed it from the package, however, I was very disappointed. The first thing I noticed was how light it was, including the bottom. The base is not weighted, and the entire menorah falls over as soon as a candle is placed in the holder. Unfortunately, the gold paint easily chips off, and we kept finding gold paint pieces on the floor. I found a similar one at the discount store for less than a dollar-- except the discounted menorah had no chipped paint and a heavier bottom to prevent falls. This menorah is poor quality, and I will not order again.

I was very excited to get this menorah but when I received it, I was a bit disappointed. It is extremely light and feels very cheap. The listing shows the item weight at 1.15 pounds, however this is only 14.8 ounces. The listing also states that this is a one piece product, however, it is a two-piece product. The item will arrive with the base unattached, you will need to screw that together. Another reason I don’t love this is because you can see all of the joint/solder marks where this was put together. This has a very cheap feel to me. From afar it doesn’t look bad, but once you get close to it, you will be able to see that it is not made of good quality.
