Very nice handle. Lock works great. Freezes in the winter time like any other lock handle, but that is to be expected. Heated the key slightly with a torch and the lock worked after that.

It's heavy duty and durable,it hooked right to my existing latch rods with little modification needed,the old one was pop-riveted from the outside and loose.

The handle itself feels nice and sturdy, but the end of the shank is not threaded like it is in the photo. I paid a little extra for this handle because the photo and drawings show the unit with a threaded shank.

A worthy replacement for the lock that failed on my Jason truck cap. While it didn't come with a rubber gasket/seal, I improved one out of a thin black rubber sheet.
