Fix the drip. Eliminate backup when your cap is on. A leaky blade valve will leave you with a fist full of tainted water before you even get the sewer hose in place - yuck! No thanks. The best solution is to replace worn seals. They have a habit of developing buildup after years of use. Tissue and other contaminates can eventually effect the seals performance and it's ability to work correctly.Our repair took about an hour. It worked so well that we ordered a second set for the other valve just to renew it at the same time. Youtube has video's online that are a good guide as to what to expect during replacement. The new seals are thick and feel like a good quality part when handled. Overtightening the blade valve was our biggest correction during the entire replacement process. Well worth the purchase with 100% satisfying results. Recommend!

Worked perfectly for my Mytee carpet extractor. The quality was good for the low price. The valve operated flawlessly after o ring replacement and it was very easy to do. I did not use the supplied bolts because they were just a little too long (barely) but the clearance was too tight.
