This fountain is absolutely beautiful. I bought it as a gift for my wife and she loves it --- when it's working, which is rare. First, there were no instructions with the packaging or online but I'm fairly handy and was able to figure out how to assemble it, except for rubber hose, which has a what appears to be a plastic or rubber regulator in it. I didn't know which end connects to the pump and which end connects to the fountain. I tried both ways with the same results, i.e., the fountain comes on right away, and looks great, but when you turn it off and the back on again, the fountain doesn't work. I have to take the pump out of the water and place it back in again to get it working. Then it'll work fine until I turn it off. When I turn it back on again, nothing, except the light. This would very easily be a 5 Star item if the pump worked properly, but since it doesn’t, I can't recommend it.

It's beautiful fountain but no sound of water. Two sources of power required. They apparently redesigned it the light is on a cord with a switch (logical) fountain/pump just plugs into the wall. I have to buy 2 plugs to make it work (angry face). Not sure what I'm going to do. love the light
