Solid bulid. Great for larp I'm not sure if it would hold nods but wouldn't surprise me if it did.

This mount seems to fit well, no issues with fitment or attachment so far. It's lightweight, which can of course be a pro, but I'm not sure if they might have gone too far in that direction. It's not super confidence-inducing when it comes to mounting an actual full-weight and expensive set of NVGs. I think it's likely best to stick to nothing heavier than something like a 3d-printed airsoft prop or maybe a GoPro - and even then you'll want to dummy cord it down for safety. I'm just not convinced that it's sturdy enough to reliably secure real NODs.

I recently received this Tactical Helmet NVG Mount with Modular Bungee Shroud through the Vine program, and this is my first impression and personal opinion. Specifically designed as a replacement for the Wendy 3.0 helmet, this mount aims to provide enhanced stability and security for your night vision goggles or sports cameras. My initial impression is positive. The modular bungee shroud appears to be a significant upgrade, offering a more robust hold compared to standard mounts. This is particularly important for heavier NVGs or when engaging in activities that involve a lot of movement. The inclusion of a sports camera bracket base is a nice touch, adding versatility to the mount. The manufacturer claims the mount is made from high-quality Nylon materials, and it does feel lightweight and durable. This is crucial because you don't want added weight on your helmet during extended use.**Pros (Based on First Impression):*** **Enhanced Stability:** The bungee shroud seems like it will definitely provide added stability and security for NVGs and cameras.* **Versatile:** The sports camera bracket base makes it useful for a variety of applications.* **Lightweight Nylon Construction:** Feels durable without adding excessive weight.* **Potential upgrade for Wendy 3.0 helmets:** Direct replacement and upgrade.**Things to Consider (Based on First Impression):*** **Long-term Durability:** While the nylon feels good, only time will tell how it holds up to repeated use and harsh conditions.* **Compatibility:** While advertised for the Wendy 3.0, I will be testing it on [mention any other helmet you plan to try it on] to assess broader compatibility.* **Ease of Installation:** [Mention if you found it easy to install since this is a first impression, or mention that you will be installing it later and commenting on it in a future update.]**Overall:**So far, I'm impressed with this Tactical Helmet NVG Mount. The modular bungee shroud is a welcome addition, and the overall construction seems solid. I'm looking forward to putting it to the test in the field and will update this review with more insights on its long-term durability and performance.**Recommendations:**I would recommend this for users of the Wendy 3.0 helmet or users of compatible helmets looking for a affordable and stable NVG/camera mount.

It's a good fit on a fast cut helmet. The frame is plastic while the rhino mount bracket is CNC aluminum. It works a lot better than the cast ones. A mil-spec rhino mount fits in perfect. It weighs 50 grams which is 10 more than my cast unit. It comes with two sets of screws including a shorter set which I imagine are for one of the plastic training helmets. That's appreciated because I actually use one of those helmets too.
