I installed to my military ACH. The brown layer fits well. The black pads make the overall area too small, so I am running with just the brown pads installed and they are little more comfortable than the standard green pads. The black pads also have very cheap velcro that does not stick well to anything. A better design and this product could be much better. Overall better than the issue item, but I wouldn't waste my money on this if I would had been more informed.
