I replaced this handle on my 2016 Silverado 1500. Everything fit and it looks new. glossier finish than stock which is okay with me.I also had to replace the lock electric actuator, which was weak.

2014 GMC replacement for back lift gate latch. Easy on and off. Wish they sold the lock with it, but they are available too.

Purchased for a 2018 GMC Sierra, everything lined up however, it will not automatically lock with key fob. Must lock/unlock with key.

The spring for the lock mechanism is too strong so the electric lock actuator is not strong enough to move it. I had to change it with the original spring that came with the handle that I replaced. Then when I closed the tailgate the plastic handle that pulls the control rods to the latches broke leaving the tailgate locked in the closed position and with the cover on the bed I was locked out. I needed to break in to my bed in order to activate the latch mechanism from the inside of the tailgate. It is past the return window so I basically wasted my money.
